Current alternatives include “in home” care services or choosing between a career and the needs of the loved one. Each of these options, under the right circumstances, may be necessary, however the financial burden is often onerous, isolation and loneliness the unfortunate consequences. 

The inspiration for Sadie’s Place NY comes from the challenges our own families experienced finding an appropriate place for a loved one that required supervision, but not assisted living. The conflicts between career responsibilities and concern for the well-being of our family member caused much stress and sadness.
